Desirae is the Co-Founder of the foundation and serves with a personal connection to its mission as Kylie’s mother. Having spent most of the past 15 years raising her two children in Tumbler Ridge, Desirae is deeply connected to the community and committed to creating a lasting legacy in memory of her daughter and all the children and families impacted by the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge. Her dedication to building something greater than herself is reflected in every aspect of the foundation and in its commitment to preserving Kylie’s love of art. Born and raised on Vancouver Island alongside her sister Shanon, Desirae enjoys spending time with her son Ethan and family, practising yoga, and exploring the Island’s trails.
